Trying Human Volume 3

Kickstarter Final Update

This is going to be my final update for the Trying Human Volume 3 Kickstarter.  Most everyone has received their rewards and those that still haven’t, they’re at least on their way.  The final international rewards were sent in bulk to a secondary fulfillment center to cut down on the cost of international shipping since prices have been less than ideal lately.

If for some reason you still haven’t received anything from the Kickstarter, please check your pledge level and contact us via PM to discuss your missing rewards.  If you have an order number, please include that as well.

The next Kickstarter will be for the next two books:

• Volume 4 (Chapters 13 - 16)
• Volume 5 (Chapters 17 - 20)

Volume 6 is still in progress via tryinghuman.com  I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the books and Trying Human until Volume 8 (the final book)!

Less than a 100 orders left to ship and a message from Dave!

We have less than a 100 orders left to ship and the ones that have been shipped are beginning to arrive.  We're currently shipping about 20+ orders a day to stay on top of everything.  In the meantime, here is a word from my partner, Dave, who's been helping with international orders both on Kickstarter and via my store:

"As I am sure many of you are aware, shipping prices have been high and  just getting higher ever since our Postal Service suspended the slow but cheap option of sending mail by sea about 10 years ago.  On July 1st, prices reached new levels of absurdity thanks to the United States recently renegotiating a 145 year old international postal service treaty.  ಠ_ಠ  

Up to now we have been trying to just eat the cost of that difference, but we did recently update the rates in our store.  As we have been working to get through all the back orders and Kickstarter rewards, international orders have admittedly been slower going out than others due to this.  We are currently looking into alternative options which will hopefully be able to bring prices back down a little.  Please note that this is not slowing us down in trying to get caught up on our backlog of orders.  If push comes to shove, we will just bite the bullet and continue sending out orders via the usual method."

So in case you were wondering why S+H went up or why international orders are taking a touch longer to get out, this is why.  We're sorry for any inconvenience or added expense in the future.
